Not Sure On A Plant

Hi, i have a plant, it look very simular to cabomba but it is a T shape. if you know what i mean, It has no routes what so ever. Coming off each T is a long strip of cabomba looking plant. I have no clue what it is. It feels very thick almost plasticy. but it has been growing loads in my tank. It was about 7inch long now is about 1ft long on 2 of the T's. Any clues? sorry no pics cant get laptop to let me upload any.

limnophillia sesiliflora (ambulia) - similar to cabomba.

thanks, does it float or need to be planted?

planted is better but if you leave it floating then it grows twisted.
