ok long story short, went away for the week down devon with my mum, left the lights off my 5.5 usg tank which is stocked with (cringing already?) 2 Atbs (albino tiger barbs) and a bronze cory(noob mistake), they got fed once or twice by my dad but well "weaker" atb (aka not the boss one) has been bullied by the other one and has quite alot of its tail missing
which med should i use(which ill get tomorrow/sunday at latest along with my new tank ^^)? an all perpose anti bactiral? (im in the uk)

just wondering which is best suited? avalable?

How much of the tail has gone, can heal itself in good water quality as long as there no fluff on it, or white edges.
Melafix is good for cuts and wounds on fish, good luck.
And if he's still bullying you might have to rehome one of them, sorry.

thanks, the fin is not bad considering, theres no fluff or other fungal type stuff, and the water quality is excelent, i just want to get something to speed up the healing as i dont think its too far gone
ether today or tomorrow i get my larger tank which in turn will stock more ATB's thus eleaveating the problem. they fought at the start but lived happly as poss before we left, i think its just the fact that they hve been living in the dark with little food for the past week, those conditions dont edxactly bring the best out of people lol
edit: i havent seen any more fighting since the lights are on and when they were off i tried the red torch and didnt see anything then ether.

Just melafix then, good luck with your new tank.
