LOL, guppies must be one of the easiest fish to sex so he doesnt really have much hope does he.

Not only is there the gonopodium, but you can tell the sex of guppies just by looking at the colouring of their tails

The final excuse after admitting defeat was that a new starter had filled the tanks.

he said "we only have what is there"

I had to point out the only female in three tanks of females to him
