Coming into my room is almost pathetic anymore, everytime my females and guppy fry see me they all flock to one central part of the tank and beg for food. The thing is I feed them three or four times a day, and they always devour everything within seconds. I also give them mosquito larva every couple of days, but they constantly act like they are starving. The thing is, it's not like I don't give them that much, I mean, we're talking about a pinch of flake for each feeding.

So should I give them more or is it just them being annoying?

Within seconds? I'd give them a little more, especially since the females are most likely pregnant and the fry need lots of nutrition to grow up strong. :flex:

You kind of have to experiment and get the right balance...for example, my male tanks eats basically NOTHING, they just let the extra fall, whereas the females are always diving for it.

So anyway, I'd give a little more, but generally Guppies are flockers when they see you. Mine always do it. :p

My Swordie juvies are the same way, every time they see someone they all crowd into one corner. They are big enough that I only feed them once a day. I have tried to give them a little several times a day but they still do the same crowding act even if there is still a bit of food laying on the bottom. The crowd scene breaks up after a few minutes if I just sit down and watch them for a bit. I would guess that it is a trained response of begging for food even if they are not all that hungry. When they realize that food is not coming at once they calm down and get on with the task of being fish. :)
