Not Bubble Nesting Lately

Hi all, been awhile since i posted here.

My betta normally bubble nests all the time. The one time he didn't he was sick. After he got well he started again.

Now he's not again, but does not appear to be sick.

Are there other reasons why they quit bubble nesting?

How old is he Allie? Could be he's slowing down because of age. Maybe he is sickening for something but to be honest mine don't build them all the time. Just keep your eye on him, keep is water super clean and hopefully he'll be back to making bubblenests soon

Some are just not bubblenesing types lol, my red SD/HM male i got from Kevin hasnt bubblenested at all. Apart from one time when i attempted a spawn with him

Joby, I have had my betta for 1 yr. and 4 months. Not sure how old he was when I got him.

Hey, I looked today and he has made some bubbles! Maybe he figured "what's the use"?
