if my fish breed, wich has happened but the babies died , would i be able to put the fry into a goldfish bowl with no heater or filter on their own and jus do regular water changes.

oh and im looking for a new good but inexpensive filter for a 34 gallon tank wich makes would people recommend tat are available in ireland. my filter came with tank wich is 2nd hand and i dont tink its gud enough for the tank.

and would i run the filter in the tank with the old filter til the new filter is cycled

depends of what fry you have, i have successfully kept guppies without a heater but no other livebearer fry

To answer the baby question, no you can't just stick em into a goldfish bowl, this will stunt the growth of the fish, plus the dirty water will contribute to deaths and (if by some chance they live) they may have deformities. As to the question about a good but inexpensive filter, try aquaclears if you've got them in Ireland.

You could keep this in a goldfish bowl, but I wouldn't. You'd be better off leaving them in a community tank TBH. As PRW said, you will get deaths and even if they did survive you would have very deformed fish, which wouldnt be very good parents if you would carry on breeding.

thanks for the advice i have a net but i tink tat to get them in the net u would have to put pregnant female in and tats gona cause problems coz she would eat them. iv swordtails guppies zebra danios and mollies but only one of my mollies has bred wit only 3 fry being found wich were dead
