Hello All,
As you all know it's Christmas time soon! Woohoo!
Christmas is a great time for family and yourselves. Full of excitement and happiness.
I wish you all a wonderful christmas this year!
But, while we open our wonderful gifts, presents and tuck into our Christmas meal,
please don't forget how lucky we are. Think about the people on earth who may be missing out, the people who may be lonely or who can't celebrate the time of Christmas because of poverty.
Try to send a shoebox (salvation army scheme) to help children in troubled countries.
And, if you know any people, especially OAP's next door, or down your road, who are alone this Christmas time while everyone else celebrates, Please invite them along to your Christmas Dinner or any other christmas celebration you're having if they are not attending one. Nobody realises how comforting this makes them feel and could really help them enjoy the Christmas time. They may decline but it is a wonderful thing to do ask anyway and make sure people are not alone, and lonely.
Or, alternatively, you could talk to the local church reverend. At Christmas time, they often run a service where OAP's or retired people can come for a christmas dinner along with others which is a great thing for them. If the reverend isn't running one, why don't you try to persuade them too or organise one yourself! If they are, then how about asking if you can help (advertising it or running it)
Thankyou anyone for reading this
This Christmas, a sacrifice so big or small can make a big difference to others.
Please consider what i have said.
Thankyou and Merry Christmas!
