No wonder there wasnt any fighting when I added the new girl this morning the big boss must have felt poorly, although there was nothing wrong this morning I just found her lying behind the filter with dropsy  Just put her in the hospital with a low water level and some anti internal bacteria meds, but I doubt there is much hope :-(

I'm so sorry Zoe, you must be gutted. :-(
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Yeah im totally gutted :-( Shes my fav. There really wasnt anything abnormal this morning she really didnt look swollen at all. I know its not supposed to be catching but Im worried about the others now as well

Epson salt bath, if no epson salt household salt it helps draws the fluids out.

I was going to get epsom salts last time there was a poorly one but thought, nah it will be ok. I must get some. Normal salt makes it worse

OH No I hope she will pull through. I try not to get too attached to my fish, because they are so up and down health wise.
slightly off topic I live in terraced house small garden last year we had toads who bred in the pond. 20 visits to the local pond to get rid of the wrigglers. Toads are back, yorkie keeps catching them, I put the girl and 2 males over next doors. They are well into saving the planet and wanted them. Last night yorkie going mad, 2 males back in pond waiting for a date!!!!  I am quite fond of them but yorkie keeps going insane when she can smell them..

Aww, I hope she will be OK.
Let us know how she does. Goodluck with her!

Shes still alive at the moment. Going to try and get some epsom salts when the chemist opens, so you never know I guess
