Noob Question

How do I test CO2 levels?
I installed a Co2 system a month ago.
My tank has a large surface area.
48X12X12
2 hang on filters that agitate the water surface quite a bit.

never thought of testing CO2
I haven't started a planted tank yet.
I know at school we used CO2 probes that you can hook up to a laptop using Venier logger pro...probly not in your budget. I supposed the test kits commercially available are strips...???
