Noob Greetings

I am not only new to this forum, I am new to tropical fish... Don't even have any yet, but I want to get started.

I can see I dropped in on an amazing community of fish experts, so I am looking forward to gaining lots of insight into the aquarium world, about which I know almost nothing

I have recently become fascinated with discus fish, so I am searching for information about them.

If you happen to have a good resource, please feel free to let me know about it.

Since I am a teacher, I have some time over the summer to put into this new hobby/adventure. Of course, money is an object (remember, I am a teacher).

i am also fascinated by discus but they are really really hard to take care of and definitely not recommended as a first fish

They are not reccommended as a first fish but they are not as hard to look after if you get in a routine and dont skimp on the care
