Can you feed your fish non aquatic plants such as leaves from a plant and such..since some fish do eat aquatic plants i was curious if you could would it be as good for them. I know maybe stupid question but oh well has to be asked  I have platy's, Guppies, Neon Tetras in my Aquarium

I figure it'd be better to feed them things like peas, lettuce, and cucumber. I'd imagine the non aquatic plants would be bad for them, and will fowl the water.

I've never heard of any of the fish you keep being plant shredders though.
