That's a new rule at my house as of tonight :p I have a 2 year old house rabbit who is in love with my betta room. He's in there nightly. It breaks my heart to have to put my foot down, but I really must. In Rah rah's defense I will admit that he has NEVER done two bad things...
He's never chewed a cord...
or knocked over a fish

But in the last couple of days he has managed to piss me off a bit

First, a couple of nights ago he pulled a syphon out on me, I had it draining out the window and he climbed into the windowsill and pulled it out, causing dirty water to drain all over the floor while I was out of the room.

Then he found a nice resting spot in the middle of my spare silk plants....and chewed them to bits.

So tonight...I open his cage door and I head back to the betta room. Within two seconds he's in the doorway....I only realize it so quickly because he starts pulling a bag of containers off a shelf on his way in :sly: I shoo him off and turn around a second later and see him knocking over a half filled container with grindal worms in it. Great, that should sink in nicely. So that's it...I yelled at him for the very first time ever :( I think he's mad at me but he hasn't gone back in there yet -_-

I know it could be a household pets topic :p But it is betta related since Rab's loves the betta fish so much

son of a..... :sly:
He was in there chewing plants as I typed that!!!

Do you have any pics of Rah-rah? :dunno:
I grabbed one and edited in,cc. I snagged the plants away after the pic  :sly: Bad news punk has enough fresh veggies everyday :sly:

I don't think I'll ever be able to break him of going in there :dunno:

I had a fishroom rabbit until last spring when Toby died :( I miss him, but I agree they do reak havoc -_- Toby did chew cords and the walls :grr: I can definately see the problem with them being allowed out there. Now I have two parakeets  They hate me, but they can't fly so all they do is walk around on the floor

What a punk! That's too funny.

Rabbits'll get into anything. You're really lucky he's not a cord-chewer. I think some of them are way smarter then they get credit for.

You could borrow my dog for a few weeks. :shifty:

He'd keep Rah-Rah out of your betta room.

Awwww  He's a dutch  That's one of the kinds my parents bred when I was young

Whoops! I mean bad bunny! Out of the plants!

You'd be surprised,he's truly fearless

Agreed, I think he got a small shock when he chewed a cord as a kit,he's never done it again (touch wood)

Well, I suppose I can't enforce my new rule :/ I've tried for hours and everytime I'd get distracted by the phone,he would jet off in there :grr: Maybe I need a baby gate -_-

lol i live in teh fish room in my house lol..wish i still had my bunnie but she got ran over.:( she was a house bunny to and the t.v cord would allways be chewed...so mum replaced poor bunnie with a 47kg puppy..she is hever then me :)

I also have a rabbit, but he doesn't get into my stuff  the only bad thing my rabbit does is nibble on my clothes when i'm sitting with him :grr:

your rabbit looks kinda like mine, but mine's grey and white, his name is Mr.Tinkles :p

sorry for putting my rabbit on your thread, I just wanted to show you how much he looks like your bunny....kinda :*)

Ahhh, he's precious!!! Makes me want another rabbit (I had one as a kid, but I was horrible about taking care of it, so my parents made me get rid of it, hehe I'm a much better pet mom now, just ask my horribly spoiled Golden Retriever).

Wuv, didn't you say you get your silk plants at Michael's or somethingl like that? I need to check that out and get more "stuff" in my female growout tank.

My fishroom is really what it says. It's a room with just fish, no other household pets. :D

Ohhh wuv what a lil' cutie pie. It's always the cutest animals getting into michieve eh? Mostly b/c they have their big puppy eyes and cute big ears that prevent you from ever punishing them......and THEY KNOW IT. They know they're so adorable, lol.
Good luck with the house training wuv. :kana:
