Is it possible to have 2 male guppies and 1 female in a 10 gallon tank without having fry?

I dont want fry and dont have a separate tank for them.

I dont really want 5 males as i want some other fish too!

Can someone help me? (I dont know other fish keepers willing to take, and i dont have fry tank...

I will have 3 Corys in the tank along with the guppies.

Also, if i get 3 guppies and 3 corys, what other fish would work with these?

I think your female is too stress to have any babies, she'll probably die before she have any. You need a male-female ratio of 2-3 females for every male or the female will get chased soo much that she will stress out and abort her fry or die. If you don't want any fries then have some tetras (pristelle tetra) in there and those things will difintly eat the babies. Few may survive though because it's natural for the babies to hide. And a 10 gallon might be too small for anymore fish though.

sorry, i meant 2 females and 1 male* sorry, mistake!

Would there be enough space to get 5 pristellas in there?

maybe try three first because I think your tank is already close to it's limits. Pristellas grow pretty big too, maybe 3-5 in. (I may be wrong)

I think ill just go with 5 guppies, but i wanted some variation.

pristella gets to about 1.5"

Oh my mistake about the pristellas, But I've seen some that are pretty big ( about swordtail size) mine are above 1.5 in. for sure though.

Maybe. I'm not sure but you could give it a try. your not limited to only pristella tetras. Most tetras are fast and will probably chow down the baby guppies.

that tetra is pretty cool and will show up my guppies nicely. Ill wait for more replies too

They are schooling fish, and should be kept in groups. 4 is on the very low end for them. I think you're going to be overstocking your tank there, with the Guppies, Tetras and Cories. It's swimming space too, not just waste. 10g is on the small side for fish like Tetras.

Is it possible to get a bigger tank? You're pretty limited with that one, and you seem to want a lot of fish.

nah, i dont have any space for a bigger tank. 11 gallons is max, besides my lfs has ordered it anyway!

i will not do the tetras then.
