Nitrites To Nitrates

Just wondering what the average length of time it takes for Nitrites to be converted to Nitrates. Just wondering what others have experienced. I mean from the point during cycling when you first start getting readings for nitrites.

normally the second phase of cycling takes twice as long as the first did. but the speed of cycling varies significantly from person to person so it's hard to estimate.
