my nitrite spiked to between 2 and 8 (lighter than the 8, darker than the 2 on the colour chart) yesterday. But I am using Prime as my water conditioner and I believe it "detoxifies" nitrite into an unharmful version until the filter can get rid of it.

Maybe you should use some?


btw cane76, nice fish list, how big is your tank?
