Good amounts of water changes will help, also stop feeding your guppies for a few days, they will make less waste and which should let the filter catch up a bit.

It's been cycling for like... 4 weeks now? No ammonia, nitrites are 1.0 ( and have been like that for probably 2 weeks ) Not to sure on nitrates though... I'll check... Nitrates are 40 
Alright they wern't that high last time I checked. But this is good, I've been holding off on doing a water change just because I have no fish in there. But maybe it's about time I did...
