Nitrite Help

35 gallon which has been cycling for 4 weeks all stats are fine except itrite which is at 2.0. I have no idea how to bring this down for ive never had a probelm with it before. Would it be ok to add a betta in there?

Yes, but isnt that tank a little big for just a betta( not trying to intrude on your tank stock)?

well you see im facing a problem right now i have a 5 gal with no filter and no air so i need a place for this guy to live so the 35 is what hes gonna get for a little while. right now hes in his bowl in my 20 gal and flaring at everyone that goes by
