Nitrates Dropping

At the min im adding 2ppm of ammonia till my nitrites come down, but my nitrates are dropping fast too im down to about 5ppm was as 2 days ago it was 80ppm

i thought they were suppossed to go off the chart

and nitrites turn into nitrates

How quickly is your ammonia coming down?

I add 2ppm at 6pm by 6am its all gone,

i added tonight at 6pm just tested now 9.20pm at its between 0.25 and 0.50ppm

nitrites are 5ppm, but could be off scale, looks more like 5ppmm my nitrate has gone back up to 20ppm?
