Nitrates, 25 Mg/l. How Do I Convert

hey guys.

Ive ordered a pair of bolivian rams and my nitrate levels are showing to be around 20 mg/l

I have been advised to keep the nitrate levels low for the fish i have ordered.

I have live plants in tank but was unsure how to convert 25 mg/l to ppm?

That's pretty much the same as what's likely to be in your tapwater anyway, so you're unlikely to get it much lower than that
