Nitrate,nitrite,ammonia Reducing Plants?

Are there any plants that do a really good job at removing nitrates,nitrites or ammonia or at least help?

Do plants actually utilise nitrite? Out of all the toxins of the nitrogen cycle, I thought they only used ammonia and nitrate to grow.

They can definetly utilize nitrites to obtain nitrogen.
