Hi, I have a 60 gallon tank with 2 dinosaur bichirs, a africak brown knife, a opaline gourami(female), and now two gold gouramis(female and male). When I first got the gold gouramis I thought both were female so they would get along with my other one like last time. But what I thought was females turned out to be males.. One killed the other sadly. So I have been stuck with him bullying the only female gourami. Then tonight I was at my lfs (getting supplies for other tanks of mine)and I saw a decent size gold female gourami (checked 5 times to make sure!) and now hes bullying her too!
What is it going to take to put this gourami in his place! At first I thought that he wanted to mate with her because she was a female since he was trying very hard to get her out of the bag when we first arrived. Now shes hiding with the other one
If this keeps up I'll have to take him back in her place.... But I would really rather keep him if there is a way.
