Nipped Fins

Just wondering if nipped fins grow back? It is not too severe so fingers crossed they will...?!

plenty of fresh water and they will be back to normal in no time as long as the bullying doesnt continue of course

Thanks Matt, i thought this would be the case. How much and how often for the water changes then to help with the re-growth?

i do weekley 50% changes on my tanks anyway but i would say to do 1 more change a week until its sorted of about 25%. as long as there isnt any more aggression then it will heal in no time

what fish is getting bullied, and by what?

I have just got a pair of HRP's and the tails have been nipped, not sure what by, possibly some blood red jewel cichlids. They are in a tank with a few community fish for the time being until the community fish are sold on.

i bet it's the jewels that have done it, they can be nasty.

Thats what my thoughts were, the jewels were breeding too so i doubt it was anything else.
