Hi all,

Can anyone make any suggestions as to which live plants would work best with my bettas?? They need to be hardy, and ones that won't require much looking after, because to start with I'm really wanting to learn about keeping the fish...

Also, they need to look nice because the tank is right in the middle of my house where everyone can admire it.

The tank is 4ft long, and will be divided into smaller partitions as my betta collection grows. (starting with 2, wanting about 6).

Thanks,
Marty.

i use moss... it grows like crazy so its perfect for me at least... if a betta is sick and needs to go into a small place, i just throw in a little... i have moss in all my betta tanks, and every tank in my house... looks kinda neat... cambomba is ok and looks pretty NEAT-O

Java ferns would not require anything special by way of substrate, and they're not particularly picky about light. My betta likes his sword, though, which is not quite as easy. Certain floater plants like java moss might be okay, too.
