I’d rather have a bye week and just need two wins to get to the superbowl instead of 3 needed wins if you dont have the bye week.
I'm not interested in the early games, Dallas vs Giants and Colts vs Texans. But the late games are Chargres vs Broncos and Detroit vs my Bears.A N T I C I P A T I O N
For the 4:25 PM (ET) games, I'll need to have 2 tvs next to each other for the Pats/Miami game and at the same time to watch the Broncos/Chargers game. Pats need a win against the lowly Dolphins and will want the Broncos to lose against the Chargers in order for the Pats to get the all important bye week for the playoffs.
GO PATS!
I would think the fact that a team with a bye has proven to be the best in the conference is more of a factor than the bye...From football stats
Teams with a first-round bye in the NFL playoffs have historically had a strong showing in reaching the Super Bowl, with about
two-thirds (around 67%) of teams with a bye making it to the championship game from 1999-2019, though recent years show variation, with the No. 1 seed winning roughly half the time (50%) and No. 2 seeds sometimes missing out.
