Main subject of this, salt question. Since today, read on here, perhaps water of Mollies should have that.
Sort of bkgd, & info:
Have new fancy finned black mollie. Has been looking very happy, in with black red-bellied Chinese newts, that I've had, couple of years. Newts have always been in spring water (jug, store type) Very healthy, happy newts. There is no aeration, just large surface area.
Years ago, had plain black mollies. (Also my betta) They were in, choice at the time, treated tap water. No aeration of the water then, either. Had them many, many months, always healthy. HOWEVER never any salt !
Not wanting fine new black mollie to die. (Or, with salt ?), to kill the newts. All comments welcome.
