i had a tropical fish tank set up for 3 wks now added 2 platties and 2 guppies been told to do a 30% water change on the tank should it be done this early or should i wait how offered should i do this thanks

Hello For someone to answer that they will probably need your tank size, filter etc. If its quite a small tank it might be best to do a good water change to take out some of the bad bacteria as the tank is not mature. Probably have to do a frequent water change like 15-25% and go easy on feeding just stop the bad bacteria spiking. I think im right in what im saying someone else will give you better advice. hi its a 21L tank and its got a 3 way filter in it i put stress limm 2 tsp per 10 gallon for the first wk and 1 tsp per 10 gallon the 2nd and 3rd wk thanks for the reply tho if it needs a water change i will do it thanks again barricuda
