New to this forum! I have a jewel 3ft bowfront, fluval 206 external. Have original light(broken) and original flaps(broken). Anyone know if you can make your own flaps, if so what material are you using. Tank is cycling at the moment so no rush, but am looking at making my own flaps and getting an led sit on light unit?? Tanks going to be for communit and next year discus. Used to keep these 15 years ago so know how to ok after them, but at that time led lights were unheard of. Am looking at budget led so any recommendations on those too would be helpful.

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

Can you post some pictures of the broken items?
If the pictures are too big for the website, set the camera's resolution to its lowest setting and take some more. The lower resolution will make the images smaller and they should fit on this website. Check the pictures on your pc and find a couple that are clear and show the problem, and post them here. Make sure you turn the camera's resolution back up after you have taken the pics otherwise all your pictures will be small.

It wont let me lower resolution any more than I have and it still wont let me post them. The end cap on one side of light bar is burnt, the part where you slot the tubes in. When I picked up the set up the seller did tell me light was broken. When I looked at the tube only one prong was in the tube. It's gone with a right pop I think. Fuse in plug is fine and other tube is ok,but wont work in this juwel light unit
