Is there any harm to a new born human baby infant and having an aquarium in the house? In the same room?

Thanks

both my kids have been around aquariums since they were babies and they havent come to any harm ( now 14 and 17). is there something specific that is worrying you?

Nope. I think it may actually benefit yur child. Make them calmer

I was raised with an aquarium in my room since birth and I'm fine and my youngest now 16 months old has been in our bedroom with us and our 55 gallon fish tank and hasn't had any problems, if anything I think the humidity from the tank keeps colds away. Oh, he has shorted out the power strip before, but no harm to him, just the power strip

sorry but you couldn't of taken much care for them

I have just over 600litres in my room and sleep fine.

I grew up around aquariums, and I was just fine. I dont think I did anything to them, ill have to ask my dad.

Uh... if I had to guess, I'd say no. Humidity shouldn't matter (and would be beneficial, if anything,) and most tank aren't going to be smelly (Dorkhedeos  )... mine certainly aren't. The only thing I could think of would be the noise made by the filters and things, but since it's actually recommended that you have some sort of quiet noise for the baby, that should be fine, too. The sound of the water would probably remind the baby of being in the womb, and make it calmer

No - there's no risk. I've got an almost 2yr old and another on the way. Unless they're doing laps in the fish tank, there's nothing that can harm them. Once they get mobile, make sure and lock up those chemicals though!

I'd say a tank with a newborn would be fine. It's obviously when they get a little older and start to crawl and toddle, as long as the tank is on a stirdy base, out of grabbing reach it'll be ok too.

I would think it would be beneficial to a newborn to have such a relaxing and stimulating object such as a fish tank in their room.

I agree , my boys have always been around aquariums , as long as when children get older they keep hands out .
