Just thought I would throw up some pictures of my first proper set-up. Nothing compared to some on here but I'm getting there.

Its an aquastyle 620 - 90 litre

Had it for about a year now and gradually got it steady. Initially lost a few fish through my own idiosyncrasy's, being impatient and not cycling properly. But I haven't had a fish death for a good few months now. Just started adding live plants so it wont be looking so bare for long.

Fish are :

2 x Tiger barbs
2 x Albino Tiger Barbs
2 x Green Tiger Barbs
6 x Neon Tetra

There is a selection of tetra's in there as well and if anyone can help me put a name to them.

That's a nice looking tank. I've always wanted to set one up with a black substrate.

Looks good. I think more plants will make it look good in it.

Now about your stocking, the tiger barbs should really be in at least 30 gallons.

I think some of your tetras are rosy, serpae or red phantom. They ideally need a 20 gallon and schools of 6-7 or more.
More pics would help me ID the tetras. Maybe individual pictures.

Cheers for the comments. The tetra's are all in groups. I thought there where red phantom's. There are five of them, five of the bigger ones, and the other two sets are in sets of threes.

Is there any reason why you would say they need a  bigger tank? They all seem more than happy and healthy

Thanks for any advice
