I have about 12 cherry shrimp, 15 guppy fry and 4 ottos (all getting ok great) but one of the fry has what looks like a broken spine but it is living happily with the other fish and is still growing, albeit slower than the others.
I'm planning on getting green neon tetras, lamp eyes, rummy nosed tetras, golden white cloud mountain minnows, and some adult guppies or endlers livebearers. Are there any other bright coloured or neon fish that would go with the ones i have/am going to get? preferably small ones.
I have 1 moss ball, java moss and cabomba aquatica (plus some small cuttings from the cabomba) any other easy and not too fast growing plants that small fish and fry love?

The bent spine could be caused by a genetic disorder (although there are other causes). Here's a link to some information: <a href="http://thegab.org/Articles/DiagnosisChart.html#Spine" target="_blank">http://thegab.org/Articles/DiagnosisChart.html#Spine</a>

Thanx info quite helpful only its more of a v shape rather than a s or u but seeing as its ok i might just let it live and see how it goes thanx for replying tho.

you wont want this guppy at all, if he/she breeds then the offspring will most likely have this disorder. its best to just get rid of it now.

Just a quickie, the baby guppy is still going strong and is getting an orangy tail, other fry have been moved to my dads tank and i think one is abit ill cos its tail is drooping like one of the other adults, i might catch and put some of the babies back into my tank lol
