I will probably sound dumb :*) , but here goes. Right now I have several freshwater tanks and really would like to start a saltwater! (Who wouldn't, right?) I've been reading a lot about it here and there on the Internet, but I am really not understanding everything. I have been told in the past that, once I got going, it would not be hard to keep a saltwater tank.
My question is, what about InstantOcean? Would I be able to get this and mix it in the water and would that start my saltwater tank? I am interested in a fish only tank....Anyone have some websites that explain setting up a tank like this?

Thanks for any advice.

As your marine tank matures, and becomes well balanced, things are alot easier to keep actually. And you must mix your SW before adding it into your system. Some ppl recomend mixing it, then leaving it for 3 days in a contanier with a power head running. Freshly mixed SW is very corrosive and harmful to your fish!

HIH! :)
