Newbie With New Plants

Shalom,

I recently got 6 new plants for my tank. I was hopeing someone can tell me what liquid carbons and fert. I'll need to keep them health. Also, I was told that my lighting isn't good enough. I have 1 x Tube Day-Lite 15 W (438 mm) and 1 x Tube Warm-Lite 15 W (438 mm).

Any help would be great

6.8... hmmm you may want to raise that a little, but it is not imperative..

lighting system... well... at the moment.. it really depends on the size of the tank...

ferts.. .well again, it all depends... do you want to have a substrate fert or a liquid one...

If you want to go down the liquid way, i suggest the Sera Flora Plus additive... I use it and find that it is great!

My tank is 240 Litres.

I think I'll go for the liquid fert also. I just got the Sera flora on ebay, 250ml. That should do.

if you search for lighting on here you should find a thread that tells you all about lighting and can help you work out how many watts per gallon you have and what kind of plants its suitable for.
