Hi, I have been keeping a 26 gallon tank relatively successfully for 5-6 years. But due to new baby and workload it has become a bit neglected recently and I have an algea bloom.
I have been searching the topics and have realised the mistake I made last weekend by doing a 50% waterchange, throwing out all my plants (Due to Algea on leaves) and jet washing the decorations.javascript:emoticon('
', 'smid_10')

Looks 100% better for now but new algea is already forming on the rocks.
I will get loads of plants the weekend, but any other suggestions warmly welcolmed.
Cheers
