Hi all, I guess this counts as an introduction :D

My first tropical tank, about 3 months old.

3x Albino Cory (Cojones, Nero & Noir)
2x Bronze Cory (Ronnie & Reggie)
2x Peppered Cory (Phil & Grant)
2x Upside-Down Cory (Upseedayzee & Ozzy)
2x Chocolate Doradin (Whiskers & Scrooge)

Whiskers and Scrooge get a bit rough at feeding time, but one of the Albinos doesn't take any crap, hence the name Cojones ;)

The Doras were a bit shy at first, but after a few days, they are happy to come out of their beds whatever time of day it is :)

I would like to add, in the near future, a few colourful top dwellers but the 2 Doras are a bit on the cannibalistic side with smaller long finned species (as one of my Guppies found out one night resulting in them moving to my wife's tank with the minnows), so I need to find something that can look after themselves and with short fins. Any suggestions?

Anyway, pics and a vid (if it loads)

red dwarf fan i presume.

unusual for everyone to miss a post.

:hi: I read this post, but had to close it out afterwards.

Nice fish and tank! I especially like the doradids. :D

welcome! I really like the fish...i would like to suggest, since you have bottom dwellers, a bottom dwellers "theme". my 20 gallon is mostly bottom dwellers and noc fish so i added piece of driftwood and granite slate to make a bunch of caves and stuff. my corys, raphael cat, SNE, and khuli have dug out the bottom under the wood. very cool to see everyone at feeding time though

for some top dwellers how about rams or gouramis? idk how big your tank is??

Hi. The tank is about 90 litres (20gal?)

32" x 13" x 13" roughly.

Not sure my water will be suited to Rams, I did look at the German Blue though - fussy beggars.

I have a PH of 7.6, GH and KH both around 125ppm.

How quickly will the Doras grow? I've read they usually end up around 8" long but have been known to grow a little larger. They are about 2" at the moment. How long do you reckon I have before a larger tank is required?

Also how long do they live? I've seen several conflicting reports. Some say around 4-5 years but i've seen 10 years plus and even 18 years. I'm confused
