Newbie Question

Does my lighting cycle effect my fish in any ways? I.E. Does it matter if my lifghting cycle is 14 on and 10 off etc,etc. Or should it be on an even cycle?

Makes no difference.
Highter temps are better on cycling a tank it speeds the bacteria up in the filter, as long as the fish can cope with the temp.
