Newbie Question !

when you post or reply to a post switch off your computer come back on site how can you tell if anyone has replied to your posts ?

On another site i go on i can post and reply and also check to see if anyone has replied.

I have noticed that while i'm on this site i can go to my controles and see the last 5 posts i've visited but if i go off this site and come back there not there and theres no chance i can find out if anyone has replied or i can but i have to search through hundreds of posts to find the ones i've replied to !

Hi Dan. If you click on your username, then you can see viewer profile. Than click Profile Options dropdown box and select Find Member's Posts.

How did you cut out my thread and add it to your post ? i'd love to know how to do that !

Easy But it sounds like a long process when I describe it - even though it took no more than a minute.

- I hit the "print screen" button on my keyboard.
- Opened Adobe Photoshop (not sure which other programs you can use).
- Opened a new blank page and hit Ctrl+V (the paste function).
- Cut the bit I wanted to use.
- Saved the cropped image into www.photobucket.com
- Copied the IMG link underneath the saved image.
- Paste the IMG link in to post (as you would do with photos)
