Hello
I have a 14gallon and 10gallon tanks both with various plants in, some very kind persons helped me to identify on another thread, I will go and get the sources in a moment. I have not been feeding the plants anything except for light, keeping in the terra cotta pots and submerging in the gravel. One has since died which is fine the others have grown roots (one very badly so!). Do I need to get some sort of nutrients to them?

Was thinking of the following pack for £12.99:
Flourish™ is a growth stimulator for aquarium plant stems and leaves. It contains a broad spectrum of essential trace elements, vitamins, and amino acids. Flourish™ is rich in gluconate iron, manganese, calcium, magnesium, potassium, inositol, choline B12, biotin, and other factors that have been determined to be beneficial to aquatic plants.

Flourish Iron™ is a companion product to Flourish™ and Flourish Tabs™. It is a complexed ferrous (Fe+2) iron product which contains 10,000 mg/L of iron and is ideal for iron maintenance in the natural planted aquarium. Plants can utilize both ferric (Fe+3) and ferrous (Fe+2) iron, although they prefer ferrous iron when available.

Flourish Excel™ is a simple source of readily available organic carbon. All plants require a source of carbon. This is typically obtained from CO2, but, may also be obtained via relatively simple organic compounds (such as photosynthetic intermediates). Since both processes occur simultaneously one can derive a substantial benefit with the use of Flourish Excel™ either alone or in conjunction with CO2 injection.

What do you think? The fish in the tanks are one betta (10g) and 3 DPs (14g) do plan on adding a african dwarf frog to the 10g. Wish to make sure the products are best for plants and not harmful to the fish. The lights are 15w glopower for 14g and not sure on 10g.

Plants is believed to have:Cabomba, Hygrophila corymbosa siamensis or Egeria Densa, Hygrophila difformis (Water wisteria) or Indian Fern, vallisneria nana. (At least I think).

So recommendations would be grateful. Local LFS only have one dose type plant feed and sticks that are for pond plants but they recommended I could cut up and bury near the plants. The above products would order on internet, found so far on Ebay.

Thanks for any help, sorry such a newbie on plants
