I have heard people talking of Ottos but haven't seen them in the stores. Found where I can order them on-line. So 3 Ottos and my 3 Corys. Sound okay ? I was going to add more Corys but don't want to overdo it.

Sorry to keep bothering you all....but just a few more questions:

I have an Aquaclear power filter 30...150 gph
Is this sufficient ?

Suggestions of plants were : Ambulia, Elodia, Hygrophilla, Vallis, Ludwigia, Anubias, Java fern, & Cryptocorynes.
I see the Hygrophilla and Vallis are background plants. Which of these would be good for mid and front ?

Can all of these just be stuck into the sand ?

I want to order plants, ottos, and lighting this weekend.

Below is a pic of the tank so you can see how ugly it is...lol...and the algae on front, and on the tree trunk, and on the silk plants. I cleaned it about 5 days ago....Nasty stuff. I have been tending all my time to my big tank and now am ready to work on this one. I want to remove the background and make it natural. Rocks ? A piece of driftwood ? Any suggestions would be appreciated and/or pics of yours :).
