Hey everyone,

Left the hobby for a while and due to space constraints, but I decided to purchase a 6 gallon Nano Cube and put my faithfull Paradise Fish (formerly housed in a large bowl) in it. So far he seems to be acclimating despite the Nano's strong water flow (for such a small tank).

However my question is threefold? What species could those of you with Nano tank experience recommend? Is it worth it to lower the speed on the pump in Nano Cube (I've read you can adjust it) and would leaving the default high speed on the pump be detrimental to fish and plants?

Thanks in advance for your advice and input.

You should definitely lower it if possible. The Nano Cube is built specifically for nano reefs, which require heavy water movement. I doubt a lot of people use it for freshwater setups.
