Just registered as I've been using fish forums to help me out recently as I've just started getting back into aquariums. I had one bout 10 years ago in my bedroom, but growing up, girls, drink and work kinda got in the way
. Need to blame girlfriends facebook addiction with some game on there but before I knew it I had my own virtual tank and within a few weeks had bought a 2ft x 1ft. Now got a 3ft x 1ft and girlfriend has my old tank.
I've got 10 Zebra Danio's which seem to be quite happily breeding, managed to catch 2 while cleaning tank recently the question is what is the best thing to feed them? they are only bout 4-5 mm at the mo. I also have 3 brown tailed platty's, think thats what they're called. Anyway just had fry, bout 20 now down to 10 , dont know what to feed, remember I used to use a droplet based food years ago for my mollies but cant source it anywhere!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I also have 2 angel fish, 2 Harlequin tetra's & a Siamese. How many more fish could I add to my tank or have I too many already? Personally I would love to get a female Siamese and try to breed them and want to try breeding Danio's in a small tank I have as I suspect the angel's and siamese have been eating all the eggs. They keep trawling the bottom of my tank in the same area. As far as breeding goes I want to try breeding lots of different fish but what are you meant to do with them? Most stores around here are chain stores so I dont think they'll be interested in buying from myself. Any idea's?
Anyway, just dropped in to say hello and got carried away too many questions I think.
