Newbie Intro

Hi

I'm new to the forums, obviously! I'm in Adelaide, Australia and I'm fairly new to the whole keeping fish deal. I don't have much space where I live so I've started out with a small freshwater tank, 28L, which has been set up for two months. So far its got two anabantoids - 2 neon-blue dwarf gourami's, both male - and I will be adding a few more fish to make it a community tank.

I'm looking forward to learning more about keeping fish and hopefully I won't ask too many stupid questions!

Hello Lee and welcome to the forum.

Hopefully, you will find lots of useful information on the site. As for your current tank, keep in mind that 28 liter is only about 7 gallon. The general rule of thumb is 1" of adult fish per gallon of water so you can't put a lot in a tank that small without running into problems doen the line.
