hi can some one please tel me as much as pos what dropsy is im not sure if my female sword tail has it she looks huge she swims about in her breeding tank then lays on her side im not sure if shes ready to drop or she has some thing wrong please help

hi there, dropsy is fairly easily identifiable, the fish will become swollen and the scales will stick out in a 'pine cone' effect.

here's a pic showing an example, is this what your fish is like?

thanks for letting me know its not dropsy then ive not got a clue what it is she lays on her side then when the light is switched on or off she swims about
