just wanted to know if anyone can advice me please i have just brought new fish for my tank i did test the water b4 hand and all was ok i have just lost a few of the fish can anyone tell me if the readings are ok as the book says they are ok
ammonia tested 0ppm
ph tested 6.0
ph high tested 7.4
nitre tested 0.25
nitre #2and#3 tested 40
could anyone please help as im losing fish slowly and havent had them long did the 1st test on monday
and 2nd test today 30/9/07
i have tropical fish by the way (angel,neons,tetra,gouramis ,shark,)

Stats are not good the tank is cycling that why you are losing fish.
Post this thread in beginners copy and paste, tell them the size of the tank in gallons or litres.
What filter do you use.
