Hello all just wanted to introduce myself. I am a long time fish keeper and love the hobby. I broke down my 90g about 3 years ago and regret it since. The one good thing about it is now I will be making up for it with a 180g setup. I will be starting a thread with my build from start to finish, trying to put in as much detail as I can. I hope it will help out others down the road. I will need a lot of input so I hope I have all of your backing.

See you on the threads

Sounds interesting; we like watching other people's tank builds (you'd think we'd have enough with our own, but no ;) )

:hi: to the forum.

:hi: to TFF

Sounds an interesting tank! Can't wait to follow the journal! :D
Any idea what you're going to stock?

As above, but also will you post pics as you go along with your planned 180G tank.

We're a pretty nosey bunch and love seeing and reading about good tank set ups.

I never did a planted tank with co2 and led's. This will be a challenge. I may start with a smaller tank and see how it rolls. I will keep all informed with updates and pics.

I have a newbie question before I start my first build on a smaller setup. Should I do the build under one thread or break it down on many threads. Example: Stand and hood under one and lights under another and so on? Then once I'am done I can start another thread with all the links of the threads to show the whole build. All your thoughts would be appreciated.

It is probably better to do it all under one, that way it is much easier to follow your progress :)
