Well, I went into my LFS today to try to get a job and saw these little beauties. White Mickey Mouse platys. Me, naturally, loving platies and having no money hit my girlfriend up for 7 bucks to get some She actually really loved them and wanted them for the 10 gallon i have that we set up for her to put guppies in a while back (the guppies didn't fare to well, they used to be more hardy) she decorated it so please excuse the decor.

Yeah, theyre gorgeous, I've only ever seen yellow or orange mickey mouses, never seen these B4 either and was afraid i wouldnt ever, but now i know i'll have a buncha babies. the pic doesnt do them justice and the white substrate of this ugly ugly tank washed them out a lot. I got better pictures but due to the gudelines i cant post them due to the fact the files are a lot larger than 100k

I've seen those at my Lfs, very nice. They were a tad more expensive, so I got a normal yellow/orange one lol, Platys are still great!

No, they weren't hiring, which sucks becausethe only other LFS in my area is Petco....and they suck!

Excuse me? PetCo happens to be my favorite place to buy fish, and the only reputionable (sp?) dealer in my area. They do very good in the aqutics area, and I'm very pleased with them.

I thought they were called micky mouse tetras?

Not always, some places will be good and some places will be...well, like Walmart...thats the lowest of low I could think of...LoL.

I find that Petco tends to have better and cheaper fish that come with a guarentee, while Petsmart has bigger fish but for about twice as much.

Neither had the substrate i was looking for, both of them seem to carry rainbow gravel (wont help my plants grow).
