New Wood

i recently bought some new wood for my tank, and its floating, some of it has dropped now but the larger bits are still floating, im just wondering what is the best way of anchoring them down, i dotn have any rocks or gravel so i cant tuck the wood under those and i dont want any unsightly things in the tank =[

Why don't you boil the wood for a couple days to get them to become water-logged.

Then they will sink, and it will also help at removing some tannins from the wood.

its been in the tank for 3 days and only a few bits sank atm, its already cleaned etc

Boiling it will speed up the water-logging process.
