it comes with 3 steel brackets that are made for it, obviously you need to be sure your bolting it to a brick/block wall, but my dad works in a company that chemically bonds bolts into walls for industrial use, so I am planning on taxing his knowledge in this area - lets just say my tv is wall mounted and both me and my dad have hung off that bracket fully extended without so much as a 'creek' - rest assured, one aspect of this I don't envisage ending badly is it being connected to the wall properly.

Keeping the fish, something I don't know how to do, attaching something to a wall, I'm comfortable with.

Thanks for the info though peoples.

I would think small tetras would be great. A nice shoal of neons or cardinals would do very nicely. Or even harlequin rasboras.

yes i agree would look nice wish shoaling fish :) and a blue moon, blue led lighting as well :D would look amazing :good: how much it cost you may i ask?

It has attractive qualities.

No foot print. Any room. Get the most visually from your fish. It would look stunning in a room particularly that size.

Is there a but?

Any but? Yeah the price.

If this tank were gifted to me, I'd go with a planted tank with nano species...

I'd be looking to go with these types of fish...
Trigonostigma espei or hengeli
endlers
celestial pearl danio
sparkling gourami

My personal top choice would be a nice shoal of T. espei (a shoal of 15) and 3-4 sparkling gouramis.

This would need to planted with stem plants that grow vertically, without a lot of spread. In other words, stay away from sword type plants. A bunch of plants like java ferns would work well, but ultimately things like waterweeds, vallisneria spiralis, etc. are the key to a food looking tank, IMHO.

I don't much like the frame thing. Is that just in the example or is it a part of the tank?

i agree this tank would look amazing built into the wall with like a wooden frame say over a fireplace? or something like that who knows dose look gd and if there are any small fish species that say integrate with the owner like follow them around would look kl :D

If it was given to me as a gift, i'd ask for the receipt so i could take it back for a refund, then buy a propper sized tank. :)

She really will be stuck with very small fish and a pain in the backside tank to maintain.

if she did that I'd say, ho ho ho as I chucked all her worldly belongings out onto the driveway - lol

I got it for £200 (was supposed to be £220 but they heater got broken by the guys little kid turning the switch on when it was empty the afternoon before I picked it up)

I'll post pics once its up and running, but at the moment its hidden (as much as you can hide a massive thing like that in a small house) until after Christmas.

I think that she'll be very happy with it and as that is my sole desire with my present to her, it will forfill that task, plus, all her current fish are little and I for one like little fish, is the world of fish keeping kinda like the car scene in america? "har har look at that there rice boy, he's only got a 1.6ltr honda, what does he know about dem dar automobiles" ;)

Now I've picked it up and its here I'm actually getting quite excited about getting it all going - shame really that after christmas I am going to have to wait to get it put up before we can even begin getting it all running prior to fishy time.
