Hi everyone! My name is Tina. I live in central Florida and have recently gotten back into the hobby. I had tanks when I was younger. I got away from it in my early twenties as I had much more pressing things to accomplish, like partying and school. But, now that I'm married and have two small boys, I thought it might be fun for them and myself as well. I've been keeping fish again since about June of 07. I'm afraid I've got MTS. I currently have a 30 gallon hex tank, a ten gallon, a two gallon and I just recently acquired a 55 gallon. The 55 isn't set up yet. I just got it last week. I'm thinking of doing an African Rift Lake tank. I'm excited about setting it up. Just need to find the time really. Hopefully, I will have the aquascaping done by this weekend. We'll see. My 30 gallon was beautiful and running well, until I made an awful mistake. I did a water change and unplugged the filter. I completely forgot about it (I have two children under the age of three
) anyway, it was six days later when I realized the filter wasn't running. All the fish were still alive at that point. I did a 50% water change and of course, plugged the filter back in, but the damage had been done. Over the next few days, I lost ten fish. I was heartbroken. So, the only fish in that tank now are one MM platy, three corys and two bristlenose plecos. The bristlenose were added after the tank became stable again. So, I'll be stocking it soon too. My ten gallon has a beautiful black and yellow betta, some orange bee shrimp, and three corys. My two gallon, obviously, has a betta in it. That's about it from me right now. Wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I hope to hang around a bit, and get some information! This looks like a really nice site! Can't wait to "meet" you all!
