New To The Saltwater Setup

I am going to being buying a 46 gallon bow tank on sunday 7/15 and i really want to know what i should buy first. As far as how I want to set up the tank I want to start with some live sand and a small piece of live rock along with some dead and i don't plan on buying fish for at least two to three months being that i am new. I want to know what special equipment I really need to have when i buy the tank. I don't know to much about too much and i want to do it right. So any advice will be helpful...

Firstly to the forum!!! Glad your adventuring into the awesome world of fish keeping! You'll love it once you get started.

As for some information. Take some time to post down in the Saltwater Reefs Subforums. There are many great saltwater expert people down there who will be able to help you out greatly.
