I have just gotten back into fresh water fish! I have always wanted to get a breeding tank running. I choose Mollies because they have been described as some serious breeders. I picked up:

20 gallon long All-Glass aquarium
Submersible, rechargable filter pump
10 inch air stone
Whisper air pump 20
A few plants
Submersible heater

After the tank had been up for a week I stocked it with 6 Mollies, 3 black and 3 white. Two weeks later they die. I have rebuilt and restocked the tank a few times now with the same results. I am here to narrow down what is happening!

I hope to contact every one of you to share my expirence, and to gain some of yours!

Have you got a testing kit for your water to make sure your stats are ok? It could be a problem with the water that's killing the fish.
Oh, and welcome to the board!

Recycle your water first. Be patient, it may take 4-6 weeks.
If you can get half old water and some filter pads from an estabilished tank, the recycling period will be much faster.

That's right. Recycle your water. :D Sorry.

Uncycled tanks usually don't kill mollies, since they are pretty hardy, but that could be a reason.
Did you remember to use dechlorinezer on the water?
Are you doing your water changes?
Check your PH. Mollies do very bad in acidic PH.
